our COMMUNITY
wherever you stand, be THE SOUL of that place
wherever you stand, be THE SOUL of that place
We gather at Dharma Yoga House, a simple, beautiful space rich in history and intention, to move the body, and the energy. We have made a commitment to providing a space where people feel welcome, supported, and able to experience the extensive benefits of yoga. To be allowed the privilege of practice and to be able to share this gift with you, we are truly grateful.
Dharma Yoga House is a place for people to gather – a conscious collective. A place that feels safe, open, heartfelt, and full of friends who care for each other like family. Our studio was opened ONLY because we had support from our dear friends…. who donated time, money, and their unique gifts to help us open our doors.
A beautiful day begins with a beautiful mindset. When you wake up, take a second to think about what a privilege it is to simply be alive and healthy. The moment you start acting like life is a blessing, I assure you it will start to feel like one.
Time spent appreciating is time worth living. Live quietly in the moment and see the beauty of all before you.
Om Shreem Maha Lakshmiyei Namaha
Hindu Goddess Lakshmi is the embodiment of beauty and abundance. She is the source of courage, worshipped by gods for the flowering of knowledge and wisdom. Lakshmi represents all kinds of wealth – hence she is worshipped for abundance in generosity, beauty, compassion, material wealth, and loving kindness.
Lakshmi’s four arms represent 4 directions in space symbolizing omnipresences or the 4 goals of human life – dharma, kāma, artha and moksha (righteousness, genuine desires, wealth, and liberation).
She typically stands or sits on a lotus pedestal, holding a lotus in her hand, symbolizing fortune, self-knowledge and spiritual liberation. The lotus grows from water, but it is not wetted by it.
