Elissa’s intention is to empower students to grow, evolve and move through their lives with integrity, purpose and grace.  Teaching since 2006 and committed to learning and growing as a student and teacher, Elissa consistently seeks to deepen her understanding of yoga, functional movement, anatomy and philosophy with continuing education courses and trainings.  Her most extensive studies and certifications with influential teachers of yoga and movement include Ana Forrest, Jill Miller and Jules Mitchell.

Elissa’s class integrates breath work, focused intention, asana, core awareness exercises, and dynamic movement to create a purposeful, engaging and embodied experience.

No matter what the theme or sequence, her offerings remain accessible to all levels as she supports her students with effective cueing, skillful adjustments and posture modifications.
